Annual monitoring report 2010 - 11

We provide an annual overview of the use of mental health and incapacity laws in Scotland. These reports highlight geographical variations , key equality issues and trends in the use of the legislation.

  • Statistics Survey 2010- published April 2011. This is a report on the results of our survey where we asked for opinions and suggestions about our annual and half-yearly monitoring.

Themed visit and monitoring reports

We monitor care and treatment for particular priority groups. We also produce visit reports from our themed visits to individuals using particular kinds of services across Scotland.

Investigation reports

We have the authority to investigate deficiencies in individual care. Where we find deficiencies of care we report on those. Reports from our in-depth investigations are published here.

We produce best practice guidance to help ensure that people get the care and treatment that meets their needs and respects their rights.
