New Orders Granted in 2010-11
This year, we were notified of 4304 episodes of compulsory treatment during the year. This number had fallen consistently since the 2003 Act was introduced. This is the first time it has risen since the Act was implemented. It is 6% higher than last year and higher than any year since 2006-7. See figure below.
