Advance Statements overridden by the Responsible Medical Officer
Summary
The number of notifications of advance statements being over-ridden continues to be low and this quarter there was an increase to 11 from 8 in the previous quarter.
We report quarterly on the number of reports of overrides of advance statements we receive. When we look into these further, many of these are either not genuine overrides or not competently made advance statements. Our annual report gives more information.
